Postpartum Healing

We're here for you

One of our doulas/comadres will accompany you after baby to provide emotional, informational and physical support. We'll help you navigate any cultural or traditional clashes in care. Explain the importance of postpartum womb care and binding. We like to start with binding at day 3-5 postpartum. The comadres in our collective provide backup for each other, so one of us will always be available from the moment you book services with us.

We will help with:

Mama care

Womb care, sobada

Postpartum binding

Vaginal care

Chest care

Help you process the changes you went through physically, mentally and spiritually

Rebozo Womb Care Series

Three visits - $450

$50 travel fee outside of Austin city limits

This is an intentional way of caring for a birthing person’s body post baby. Integrating the mind body spirit using Mexican Traditional Medicine. This is birthing person centered care.

~The work is initiated with rebozo movement to help create alignment in the body; it is done close to the earth for grounding.

~We then move to hands on womb care which will help with any inflammation, move tension and help with scar tissue build up. This sobada can help calm the nervous system and move any lingering trauma from the body.

~There will be guidance with belly binding and why it’s important in the postpartum period.

~We will leave you with an herbal bath for soothing

~In the last session we will finish with a closing ritual where the birthing person will be bound from head to toe completing the mind body spirit integration and closing the birthing cycle.

~The person receiving care will feel held and connected with the use of the rebozo as well as more centered and grounded in the body.

This can still be done with a c-section starting at week 2-3 depending on your healing.
